Dwight Brown’s musical journey starts in the rap and R’nB scene in Rotterdam.
Doing different projects and for artists like Kay LC and Replay. Now active in the Dutch house scene, that knowledge and years of experience are really coming together when manifesting his vision on house music.
Dwight appreciates many genres of music, but his production will always be afro soulful for the dancefloor, sometimes a bit deep, but with lots of vocals it will also be uplifting en joyful. You will hear this in his DJ sets when he’s playing clubs like Catwalk, Rain, Suzy Wong, Maassilo Factory 10, Club NL, Hotel Arena and Club Home.
This versatile producer remixed for artists like Lucien Foort, DJ Marcella, I-Fan, and Dutchican Soul on labels like Stealth, Chega, SMASH and Soul Candi. His tracks have found their way into the playlists of headliners like DJ Roog, Lucien Foort, Atjazz and Roger Sanchez.
For the future Dwight plans on more releases on his label Hotbrownie Records and colaborations with upcoming artists like Brian Chundro & Santos, Sofunky, Faya and Cherryl. Starting Hotbrownie Radio should provide a platform for appreciated collegues and talented newcomers putting together shows for their growing househead audience.
